Qualifications
-
Proficiency or firsthand involvement in the BIPOC and QTPOC community is essential.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC)

Received degree from an accredited university
-
Registered to practice in California, and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

2+ years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, children, and/or families with demonstrated expertise in treating common mental health disorders through evidence-based practices

Possess experience assisting clients with advocacy in various settings, such as education and medical environments.

Comfortable with technology and interested in incorporating technology solutions into clinical care

Excellent communicator (verbal and written)

Loves working with clients and is passionate about social justice and mental health

Compassionate and caring demeanor

Ability to build rapport with clients

Must be willing to submit to a background check
Responsibilities
-
Willing to have a caseload of a minimum of 10 clinical hours per week (all positions start at part time with the ability to grow into full time.)

Perform clinical services to patients as scheduled
-
Complete documentation within 48 hours

Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to client sessions

Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics

Participate in Group Consultation and Team Meetings

Communicate with a patient's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.)

Timely and accurate completion of written records for each patient
-
Ability to work proactively, independently, and with a high level of organization
