Adrian Belmes, AMFT (he/him)

Hi, I'm Adrian, and my pronouns are he/him. I specialize in working with transgender, gender non-conforming, and queer adults and teens. I especially love helping young people find empowerment, community, support, and understanding in the process of identity. If you are searching for healing and hope, you are in the right place. Profound transformation is possible when you are willing to engage with your authentic self.

My work is explicitly LGBTQIA+ affirming, relationship diverse, trauma-informed, sex-positive, kink-aware, and from a harm-reduction perspective. These are commitments I make to you as a person of lived experience with deep empathy for my fellow humans. You will be working together with an in-community therapist of queer, transgender, kink, ENM, Jewish, and first-generation immigrant experience.

I love supporting people of all ages and identities in exploring and understanding questions of gender, sexuality, life transitions, grief, anxiety, psychedelic integration, and relationship conflict. I'm passionate about attachment, communication, and depth exploration. I use a primarily Psychodynamic approach that is collaborative, person-centered, and strengths based. I also incorporate tools and techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Narrative Therapy, and our work will be uniquely tailored to meet your needs.

It is a basic human need to see and to feel seen. You are the expert on your own life, and your lived experiences are valuable. The therapy space we create together is a place to share your experiences safely and have them received empathetically. We will navigate the challenges of your past and present to build a more complete, balanced, and meaningful existence. It is an honor to be a part of your journey.
